about

Singer-songwriter and electronic music producer Damien Lamar has set release for “The Fall of 2+0+2+0”, the fourth volume from his magnum opus and original music score, The New Adventures of ProfessorClock. In advance of the new project, he released a new 16-minute visual/sound design experience in HD, 5.1 Surround Sound.

Volume IV, “2 + 0 + 2 + 0”, elaborates more on the narrative of the historical fiction project and provides a detailed account of Professor Emit Clock's travels from The Great Library of Alexandria where he secretly stored his writings, scrolls, and blueprints to a “geo-metron relocation interspacial device” or G.R.I.D. that allowed him to travel in space//time through the multi-dimensional confines of the Laniakea supercluster of galaxies. ProfessorClock arrives in the present-day where he finds the library had been destroyed and is determined to find out who caused it and travel back to thwart their efforts.

The psychedelic project, now consisting of 4 volumes and serves as a biblical and prophetic, fine-tuning experience using unconventional sound design. It’s an intentionally calculated, musical experience where sound design & composition meets art.

"In late 2011 into 2012, I went through a period of musical ideas, sounds, frequencies, and technology, and later received with a plausible story, based on historical fiction of a space//time traveler — named “professor:clock” whose blueprints to a time travel device/capsule made with his own hands, were destroyed around 200 BC during the fires of The Great Library Of Alexandria which was once the largest library in the world."
